Dihexa is an orally active angiotensin IV analogue that binds hepatocyte growth factor and potentiates its receptor c-Met, a pathway involved in synapse formation. It reversed cognitive deficits in rodent models of dementia (McCoy et al., J Pharmacol Exp Ther 2013).
