Cartalax is a short bioregulator peptide (Ala-Glu-Asp) identified from cartilage tissue. Bioregulator peptides are proposed to act on gene expression in the tissue of origin; Cartalax has been studied for effects on chondrocyte activity and joint function in the Khavinson series.

Used topically over joints in connective-tissue support protocols.
